Teddy Sheringham,

The book and protective dust jacket are in excellent condition, light foxing to page edges

Edward "Teddy" Sheringham was born on April 2, 1966, in Highams Park, London, and emerged as one of England's most intelligent and technically gifted forwards of the 1990s and early 2000s. He began his professional career with Millwall in 1983, quickly establishing himself as a prolific goalscorer with his exceptional positioning and clinical finishing.
His breakthrough came with Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent five memorable seasons from 1991 to 1997. During this period, Sheringham became a fans' favourite, scoring 76 goals in 166 appearances and establishing himself as one of the Premier League's most respected strikers. His intelligent play and ability to link up with other forwards made him a unique talent in English football.
In 1997, Sheringham moved to Manchester United, where he achieved his most significant team success. He was a crucial part of the legendary 1998-99 treble-winning side, scoring the vital equaliser in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich. During his time at United, he won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League, cementing his status as a football legend.
Internationally, Sheringham represented England 51 times, scoring 11 goals. He was part of the England squads for the 1996 European Championships and the 1998 and 2002 World Cups. Despite fierce competition from other strikers, he was known for his intelligent movement and ability to create opportunities for teammates.
Currently, Teddy Sheringham has transitioned into various post-playing career activities. He has worked as a football pundit, providing expert analysis on television and radio. He's also involved in the Legends Tour, competing in senior golf tournaments and making occasional appearances as a football ambassador. In 2017, he briefly managed ATK in the Indian Super League, showing his continued involvement in football beyond his playing days.
