England 1966 FIFA World Cup Winners

Precio habitual £6.95 £0.00
The 1966 FIFA World Cup final, the eighth FIFA World Cup, took place at Wembley Stadium in London on July 30, 1966. [1] England and West Germany contested the match, with England winning 4-2 after extra time to claim the Jules Rimet Trophy. It was the first—and to date only—occasion that England has hosted or won the World Cup.
Geoff Hurst's hat-trick—the first in a FIFA World Cup final—and the controversial third goal that referee Gottfried Dienst and linesman Tofiq Bahramov awarded to England make the match memorable. The England team became known as the "wingless wonders" on account of their then-unconventional narrow attacking formation, described at the time as a 4-4-2.
This is without a doubt the finest piece of football memorabilia in the British Isles. This is the only fully signed photo of the legendary England team that emerged victorious in the FIFA World Cup. The photo features the team in red matchday shirts, Bobby Moore holding the Jules Rimet Trophy, and signatures from Alf Ramsey, manager, Harold Stephenson, trainer, and most of the reserves. International collector Nigel Wray's Priory Collection purchased the original from us, which was in Kenneth Wolstenholme's 1970 World Cup Preview Annual. The A4 laminated print of this intriguing piece of historic football memorabilia also bears the signatures of most of the reserves. The reserves include Jimmy Greaves, Jimmy Armfield, Gerry Byrne, Ron Flowers, Norman Hunter, Terry Paine, Ian Callaghan, George Eastham, Ron Springett (signed in pencil), and Peter Bonetti.
