Rotherham United didn’t come into existence until 1925, but prior to then, Rotherham Town and Rotherham County (formerly known as Thornhill United) were competing for local supremacy.
Material from the beginning of‘ the club's history includes a programme from 1884 (produced for Rotherham’s first~ever FA Cup tie) and early team groups, as well as nineteenth-century player registration forms and posters. More modern items include many action shots, player portraits, cartoons and programme covers.
